When the crew turned up to do the work the first thing they did was Bio Wash the building as they did in 1990. It came up very well and may have needed done again. As I am in my 80's, I knew I would not have to think of doing it again.

I met Mr Crombie in 1992 to discuss work on our flats at Orchard Brae, Edinburgh. The Proteks System was first shown to me at that meeting. I was also looking at other fixes and companies, including roughcasting and painting. Proteks seemed like the best fix, both financially and long lasting

We commissioned the works and Proteks was applied to the existing walls for the first time in 1993.

We definitely made the correct choice, it looks good to this day!

I had Proteks System applied to my bungalow about 2 and a half years ago and the and the difference it has made is remarkable.

The Proteks System is completely waterproof so my pebble dashed walls which stayed wet long after the rain stopped are just a memory. It also stopped the flocks of house martens that pecked off the pebble dash from causing any more damage. It was an easy choice to use Proteks as the cost effective, long-term solution rather than have the pebble dash stripped and replaced. While being waterproof it is also 'breathable' which means that the walls have dried out so now it feels much cosier inside the bungalow.

‍ From initial contact, to surveying the job, to applying the Proteks to answering queries and aftercare everyone involved have been very helpful, responsive, neat, tidy and professional. I would have no hesitation in recommending Proteks as company and product.
