Proteks is designed for the UK climate
British weather is unpredictable at best. One week it’s pouring with rain, the next there’s frost or high winds. Lashing rain, hot direct sunlight and then sub-zero temperatures take a heavy toll on traditional masonry paint — but Proteks is engineered to handle these conditions in its stride.
Rain-resistant, not water-trapping
Water resistance is one thing. But most masonry paints form a non-breathable skin, which eventually cracks and peels under constant moisture. Protect is an epoxy, not a paint and resists rain while still allowing internal moisture to escape.
So instead of trapping damp, it lets your walls dry naturally while staying fully protected on the outside.
Proteks withstands wind and frost
High winds drive rain horizontally into walls, and frost on the wet walls causes the water inside the brick to expand and then contract. Over and over again throughout the winter. These stresses ruin ordinary paint, but Proteks is designed to flex, move and breathe with your building.
That’s why it doesn’t crack, blister or peel in extreme conditions. It simply holds firm.
Tested in Tough Conditions
Proteks has been rigorously tested and proven in real-world conditions. Whether it’s coastal exposure, icy Scottish winters, or rainy Midlands weather, it performs consistently.
In short, Proteks was made for the UK. And it shows.
